Vintage Christmas Aprons

So, I had all of these plans for Christmas-related posts for the month of December but... I had lots of take-home finals (you know, the kind that are actually papers in disguise). Anyway, I am finally done with school forever and have a chance to write a post!! Here is one I have been planning a while.

I recently purchased this amazing vintage-y Christmas apron.
I love the battenburg lace detail on the corners.

Here's an apron that was featured in the December 2002 Martha Stewart Living.
It's made out of white cotton organdy and twisted red and white rick rack.

Here's some more amazing vintage aprons

Here's an article on aprons through the decades.

Shabby Apple also recently wrote a post about aprons. You can read it here.

  1. These are lovely. My mom loved ric-rac; I have two aprons she made for me when hubby and I were first married.

    1. Thank you! I love ric-rac, felt, sequins, glitter...anything vintage-y. I hope to buy/make some more vintage aprons in the future. I would love to see pictures of your aprons!!
